- Soak urad for minimum 8 hours or overnight.
- Next morning grind it. Grind it with little water. Add chopped onion, pepper, chopped curry leaves, chopped green chillies.
- Mix it properly. Take kadai for fry. Add oil and let it hot. Take urad dal mava with wet hand. Make a hole in between. Put it in oil. Fry on medium heat.
- Take scrapped coconut, add dry red chillies, garlic, onion, jeera, curd and salt. Grind it properly. Take coconut oil, add urad dal, mustard, curry leaves, asafoetida. Season with chutney.
- Serve hot Vada with chutney or tea.
